The boy looks nervous like he's going to get poked in the eye or something. The girl has an angry face and is pointing at the boy with her two pointing fingers. She looks like she will poke him.
The barn in the backround doesn't really match the colors of the clothing but it adds a little something. not sure what though.
I think that this picture does have a story. A story about control and love... Not sure what else to say about it though.
this picture connects to Kathe Kollowit's drawings because it has some similar expression to hers.

Hi. The orangish stripes on the wood are a close complement (opposite color on the color wheel) of the aqua color of the dress. Your photo is almost black and white with the exception of the bright color contrast of the orange and aqua. Nice.
